PB&J Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats 

  • 3/4 cup milk (cow’s milk or plant based both work) 

  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds, optional

  • 1/2 teaspoon sweetener of choice (sugar, agave, honey, coconut sugar, etc.

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional

  • 2 tablespoons jam plus more for layering

  • 2-3 tablespoons smooth or crunchy peanut butter plus more for layering

  • Chopped nuts and/or fruit for topping, optional

Directions:

1. Into a resalable container or mason jar, add the oats, milk, chia seeds and sweetener, if using.

2. Mix with a spoon or close and shake the jar to combine. 

3. Swirl in the peanut butter and jam.

4. Cover and place into the fridge to set for 4 hours or overnight.

5. Enjoy straight out of the fridge or warm it up in the microwave or in a small pan on the stovetop before serving.

6. Serve with a splash more milk and toppings such as chopped nuts and berries, if desired.
